St Alban's Church, Trimdon Grange
St Alban’s was built in 1886 to serve the mining community of a rapidly expanding village. It has a church hall and well-equipped kitchen attached which can be hired out for private functions or clubs. The chancel has been re-ordered for contemporary worship, but retains interesting large carved figures of Christ on the cross with his mother Mary and the apostle John.
