Prayer is simply communication with God - talking to God, listening to God.  For Christians, it's the foundation and the starting point of a real and living relationship with God. And like any other relationship in our lives, we need to work at it, put time into it, if it's going to grow and deepen and stay healthy.

Over the course of their lives, many people find that there are times when their prayer lives need some refreshment; when things start to feel a bit stale, and they need some variety in their spiritual diet.
